Colombian-born Chef and Owner Edgar Caro has garnered national praise for showcasing the soul of South America at his successful Uptown eatery, Baru. Later, Edgar, along with co-owner Antonio Mata, teamed up to bring their signature style to Basin Seafood & Spirits. Now the duo is bringing another colorful dining tradition to the greater New Orleans area in the form of Brasa Churrasqueria. Brasa offers a farm to table steakhouse experience daily with regional ingredients and latin flair. A nostalgic tribute to the steakhouses of South America, this new neighborhood eatery will become a local tradition.
